Code of Conduct
Maven strives to ensure that all experiences are welcoming and inviting; inclusive of all races, genders and sexualities and safe spaces for both dancers and team. Maven upholds a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, harassment, and violence in alignment with the Alberta Human Rights Code.

Maven Movement is a member of the Skipping Stone Trans Affirming Network.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Maven Movement

• Illness or Emergency: If a class is canceled due to illness or emergency, a class credit will be issued, valid for one calendar year from the registration date.
• Non-Refundable Fees: All merchandise and registration fees for dance classes, performance programs, and workshops are non-refundable.
• Early Cancellations: For non-performance-based classes, early cancellations will result in a class credit issued via Momence.
• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 2 hours or less of the class start time will forfeit the registration fee, with no class credit issued.
• Performance Program Fees: Registration and theatre fees for performance programs are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.
• Cancellations by Maven Movement: In the event Maven Movement cancels a class, a class credit will be issued through Momence for all registered participants.
• Special Guest Workshops: Non refundable and no credits will be made available unless the workshop is cancelled by the visiting guest.
